Mr. Tapan Kumar Roy joins Orbit Global HR Consultants LLP as Sr. General Manager – Human Resources, bringing with him an exceptionally rich experience of 25+ years in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Statutory Compliance, HR Operations, and Organizational Development.

Over the span of his distinguished career, he has worked with reputed organizations across manufacturing, engineering, telecom, garments, operations, and project management, successfully leading HR & Administration functions at multiple units. He has handled large workforce environments, managed complex HR challenges, and ensured compliant, people-focused HR systems.

Before joining Orbit Global, Mr. Roy has worked in senior HR leadership roles, including Head of HR & Administration, Senior Manager – HR & Admin, and Manager – HR & Operations, where he was responsible for:

• Leading complete HR, IR & Admin functions

• Designing HR policies, service rules, compensation structures & appraisal systems

• Recruitment & manpower planning for technical, operational & leadership roles

• Implementing training & development programs

• Managing statutory compliance (PF, ESI, labour laws, safety, pollution control etc.)

• Overseeing contract labour management, general administration & facility management

• Maintaining peaceful industrial relations and grievance redressal

• Handling audits, safety protocols, welfare initiatives & plant operations coordination

He is known for his strong leadership qualities, people-centric approach, and ability to create transparent, harmonious, and compliant work environments. His expertise in handling large teams, managing unions, and ensuring statutory governance strengthens Orbit Global’s mission to deliver trusted HR solutions to its clients.
