Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Retention Marketing Manager to lead retention marketing efforts for our ecommerce platform. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in retention and lifecycle marketing, managing multi-channel campaigns across Email, WhatsApp, and SMS. You will be responsible for designing impactful customer journeys, improving customer lifetime value (LTV), and reducing churn to drive sustained business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute end-to-end retention marketing strategies aligned with business goals
Build and automate customer journeys focused on engagement, win-backs, and post-purchase communication
Manage targeted campaigns aimed at increasing repeat purchases and optimizing LTV
Perform customer segmentation, personalization, and cohort analysis for campaign effectiveness
Analyze campaign data via tools like GA4, VWO, and Hotjar for continuous improvement
Collaborate with creative and customer experience teams to create cohesive and engaging brand interactions
Maintain and optimize CRM infrastructure using platforms such as WebEngage, CleverTap, or HubSpot
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
Minimum 4+ years in retention or lifecycle marketing, preferably in D2C or ecommerce
Proven experience managing Email, WhatsApp, and SMS campaign management
Expertise with CRM tools (WebEngage, CleverTap, HubSpot) and marketing analytics
Strong understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, and data-driven optimization
Ability to drive repeat purchases, enhance customer loyalty, and reduce churn through effective retention strategies
Excellent communication and project management skills
