⭐ About the Role

We are hiring a Sr. Manager – System Hardware for a leading technology organization in the IT Services & Semiconductor domain. This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead end-to-end hardware board design, development lifecycle management, cross-functional engineering collaboration, and product deployment for complex embedded, IoT, and industrial hardware systems.

You will work on advanced architectures involving SoCs, FPGAs, CPLDs, MPSoCs, and high-speed digital, analog, and power electronics. The role demands strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and hands-on hardware development experience from concept to mass production.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Lead hardware design cycles for multiple embedded/IoT/industrial products.

• Architect and analyze digital, analog, and power electronic circuits.

• Design boards using SoCs, FPGAs, CPLDs, and MPSoC-based architectures.

• Perform signal integrity (SI), EMI/EMC analysis, and high-speed board design reviews.

• Independently manage schematic design, DC drop analysis, SI validation, and cross-team technical reviews.

• Drive procurement and sourcing of electronic components, PCBs, mechanical parts.

• Lead board bring-up, debugging, failure analysis, and issue triage with firmware/software teams.

• Develop complete hardware documentation, test plans, test procedures, and validation reports.

• Select testing equipment, execute validation tests, and resolve design/debugging challenges.

• Collaborate with mechanical, layout, SI/EMC, manufacturing, supply chain, and QA teams.

• Work closely with production, logistics, and vendors to ensure high-quality manufacturing.

• Contribute to cross-functional reviews involving post-silicon validation, BIOS, driver teams, and test automation.

✅ Mandatory Requirements (Must Meet All Criteria)

• Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in ECE / CSE / IT

• Experience: 10–12 years in hardware board design & system hardware engineering

• Proven expertise in digital, analog, and power electronics circuit design

• Strong hands-on experience with SoCs, FPGAs, CPLDs, MPSoCs

• Deep knowledge of signal integrity, EMI/EMC, high-speed design

• Must have completed 2+ hardware product development cycles from concept to deployment

• Ability to independently execute:

  • Schematic design

  • DC drop analysis

  • SI analysis

  • Peer engineering reviews

• Strong knowledge of procurement for embedded/IoT/industrial hardware components

• Hands-on board bring-up, debugging, and failure analysis skills

• Strong expertise in hardware validation, test planning & debugging

• Proficiency in Cadence Allegro or Altium (mandatory)

• Experience working with:

  • Layout

  • Mechanical

  • SI/EMC teams

  • Manufacturing & supply chain

• Understanding of production pricing models, logistics, electronics manufacturing

⭐ Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Python, Perl, or scripting knowledge for test automation

• Experience supporting post-silicon bench validation

• Exposure to BIOS, firmware, driver QA, or system-level testing

• Familiarity with industrial-grade hardware manufacturing workflows
