As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be deeply embedded with business, product, and operations teams, driving insights that shape strategy, experimentation, and growth.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Acquire and manage data from primary and secondary sources such as databases and REST APIs

• Perform advanced data analysis using Python and SQL

• Design and build interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Metabase

• Identify relationships between key business metrics and their drivers to enable better decision-making

• Partner with business, product, and operations teams to define KPIs and automate reporting solutions

• Analyze business experiments and recommend next-best actions

• Conduct root cause analysis, develop hypotheses, and validate business cases using data

• Act as a strategic analytics partner, supporting leadership with actionable insights

🛠 Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python and SQL (mandatory)

• Data Analysis & Data Visualization expertise

• Experience working with databases and APIs (Mongo, Presto, REST, or similar)

• Dashboard creation using Tableau, Metabase, or similar BI tools

• Excellent cross-functional communication & stakeholder management

• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset

✅ Mandatory Screening Criteria (Non-Negotiable)

Candidates must meet all of the following:

1. 4–7 years of experience in analytics/business analytics roles

2. Current or recent experience in a fast-growing startup environment

3. Strong, hands-on expertise in Python and SQL

4. Experience working with databases/APIs (Mongo, Presto, REST, etc.)

5. Proven experience building dashboards and data visualizations

6. Ability to attend face-to-face interviews in Bangalore

7. Experience working closely with business, product, and operations teams

8. ❌ Candidates from large MNCs or Big4 firms will not be considered

9. Must be currently based in Bangalore (no relocation allowed)

🎓 Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field

• 4–6 years of experience supporting business decision-making through analytics

• Strong proficiency in Excel and data storytelling

• Basic understanding of financial metrics such as ROI, cost optimization, and allocation (good to have)
