Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Business Head – P&L Owner to lead an integrated ecosystem spanning franchise platforms, investment marketplaces, consulting, media, and large-scale events.
This role carries complete end-to-end P&L ownership across multiple revenue verticals, including brand onboarding, investor acquisition, partner-led sales channels, digital marketplaces, advisory services, and high-margin events businesses.
The ideal candidate is a strategic operator with hands-on execution capability, experienced in platform-led, franchise, licensing, or multi-channel sales businesses, and comfortable working closely with founders and board-level stakeholders.
Overall P&L Accountability
Full ownership of Revenue, EBITDA, Cash Flow & Cost Control
Annual budgeting, pricing, forecasting & margin optimisation
Ownership of unit economics by vertical and channel
Funnel accountability from lead → deal → revenue
Driving sustainable, repeatable growth (non burn-led)
Key Responsibilities
A. Brand Onboarding & Franchisor Monetisation (Supply-Side Engine)
Build and monetise a high-quality portfolio of franchisable brands
Own brand onboarding, profiling, pricing, and monetisation
Design multiple monetisation models:
Free & paid listings
Premium visibility packages
Franchise sales mandates
Consulting & advisory retainers
Ensure brands are franchise-ready (commercial viability, scalability, documentation)
Protect platform credibility by screening non-scalable or low-quality brands
Integrate brands across:
Digital marketplace
Events & expos
Partner-led selling channels
B. Business Associate Onboarding & Enablement (Extended Sales Force)
Design and scale a national Business Associate (BA) network
Onboard consultants, brokers, and professionals as franchise deal partners
Enable partners with:
Brand access
Sales collateral
CRM & lead allocation
Ensure governance, compliance, and ethical selling standards
Drive productivity, conversion, and partner ROI
C. Branch / Channel Partner Onboarding (Regional Expansion)
Appoint and manage regional branch & channel partners
Expand franchise reach across Tier 1, Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities
Integrate partners into:
Local investor meets
Regional franchise shows
Lead follow-ups & closures
Track performance, compliance, and ROI
Scale high performers and exit non-performing partners
D. Investor Marketplace – “Buy a Brand License”
Own the complete investor lifecycle:
Lead → Advisory → Closure → HandoverImprove:

Deal velocity
Investor confidence
Integrate financing partners, associates, and events into the investor journey
E. Business Exit & Capital Raise Platform (“Sell Your Business”)
Scale listings for:
Business exits

Improve closure rates and deal timelines
F. Events Business (Expos, Awards, Summits & Conferences)
Own complete P&L for:
National & regional franchise expos
City-level franchise shows
Awards & leadership summits

Sponsors
Delegates
Award participants
Ensure post-event lead integration into digital & partner channels
Build a high-margin, repeatable events engine
Mandatory Screening Criteria (Non-Negotiable)
Candidates must come from one or more of the following backgrounds:
Franchise & licensing platforms
Marketplaces or platform-led businesses
Media, advertising, events & exhibitions
Multi-channel sales organisations (direct + partner-led)
Experience Requirements:
15–25 years of progressive leadership experience
8–12+ years of full P&L ownership at business or multi-vertical level
Demonstrated ownership of:
Revenue
EBITDA
Cash flow
Budgeting & forecasting
Proven experience managing multiple revenue streams simultaneously
Strong hands-on exposure to:
Franchise / licensing models
Brand onboarding & monetisation
Partner-led sales engines
Events, sponsorships & media monetisation
Investor-facing sales & advisory experience with deal closures
Experience working closely with founders, promoters, or board members
Preferred Education
MBA / PGDM in Business, Strategy, Finance, Marketing, or Entrepreneurship
Strong real-world P&L experience may substitute formal qualifications
