Role Overview

Orbit Global is hiring a Creative Producer – Mini Films (Bhojpuri) for a confidential OTT platform. This role focuses on developing and executing original Bhojpuri mini-films that are emotionally engaging, culturally authentic, and aligned with platform-led entertainment strategies.

The position bridges creative ideation and on-ground execution, working closely with senior creative leadership to ensure every project delivers strong storytelling, production quality, and audience resonance.

Key Responsibilities

Content Ideation & Development

• Develop, evaluate, and shortlist concepts and pitches for Bhojpuri mini-films.

• Review pitch decks and show bibles for creative feasibility, tone, and audience appeal.

• Collaborate with writers, creators, and production houses to refine approved concepts.

• Participate in story discussions, ensuring strong narrative structure and regional authenticity.

Creative Execution

• Support the Creative Producer (Mini Films) in creative supervision across projects.

• Provide creative inputs on casting, locations, art direction, cinematography, costumes, music, editing, and sound design.

• Work closely with producers, showrunners, and production teams during pre-production, shoot, and post-production.

• Coordinate with marketing teams for on-set promos, BTS shoots, and photoshoots aligned with brand tonality.

Research & Trend Awareness

• Track regional and national content trends, emerging formats, and new genres.

• Stay updated on Bhojpuri culture, youth behavior, and audience consumption patterns.

• Contribute fresh, trend-aligned ideas rooted in regional storytelling.

Project & Cross-Team Coordination

• Monitor creative timelines and deliverables to ensure timely execution.

• Collaborate on budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning with production teams.

• Ensure creative consistency and quality across all stages of production.

• Enable smooth coordination between creative, production, post-production, and marketing teams.

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Minimum 8+ years of on-ground production experience in filmmaking.

• Minimum 5+ years of OTT / platform or channel-based content experience.

• Proven expertise in content ideation, concept development, and pitch evaluation.

• Hands-on involvement across the full production lifecycle.

• Strong command over cinematic storytelling, characters, emotions, and visual narrative.

• Solid understanding of pre-production (casting, locations, costumes, set design, treatment, budgeting).

• Working knowledge of post-production workflows (editing, sound, BGM, DI, VFX).

• Experience working with writers, creators, production houses, and showrunners.

• Deep cultural connection with Bhojpuri culture or Hindi-speaking belt sensibilities.

• Passion for regional, culturally rooted storytelling.
