About the Role:
Orbit Global is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Area Sales Manager – Electron Microscopy to drive revenue growth and expand market share for high-tech electron microscopy solutions. You will work closely with channel partners and customers in the Education & Research and pharmaceutical segments to deliver innovative, value-driven solutions.

Job Purpose
As an Area Sales Manager, you will:
Build and strengthen customer relationships.
Acquire new accounts and expand market presence.
Convert opportunities into sustainable business growth.
Collaborate with channel partners and internal teams to address customer challenges with technical and commercial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Identify potential customers via networking, referrals, cold calls, and other prospecting methods.
Market Development: Explore and expand new markets while strengthening existing territories.
Product Knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge of electron microscopy products and competitor offerings.
Customer Engagement: Understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Sales Presentations: Conduct effective presentations highlighting product benefits and value propositions.
Negotiation & Closure: Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms.
Reporting & Data Management: Track sales activities, manage pipeline, and report to management.
Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to provide insights.
Marketing Support: Participate in conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, and user meetings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Service, Application, and Administration teams.
Travel: Extensive travel within the assigned territory (60–70% of time).
Requirements
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electronics, Materials Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
3–5 years of sales experience in scientific instruments, analytical equipment, or capital equipment.
Experience in Education & Research (R&D) segment is preferred.
Strong time management, analytical thinking, and commercial acumen.
Ability to work effectively in a matrix organizational structure.
What You Will Bring
Proven track record in sales (3–5 years).
Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites (~70% of time).
Experience selling Electron Microscopy solutions (Table-Top Microscopes, SEM, FESEM, TEM 120 kV & 200 kV, FIB systems).
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
High motivation and drive to exceed targets.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Fluency in English and regional language.
