About the Opportunity

Orbit Global HR Consultants – Best Executive Search Firm is hiring on behalf of a reputed automotive manufacturing organization based in Rewari/Bawal.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Manager / Head of Department (HOD) – Human Resources who can lead the complete HR function with strong exposure to manufacturing environments and automotive industry standards.

This is a leadership role requiring operational excellence, compliance expertise, and strong stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 HR Strategy & Leadership

• Lead the overall HR function for the plant/unit.

• Align HR strategies with business goals and production targets.

• Drive employee engagement, retention, and workforce planning initiatives.

🔹 Compliance & Labour Law Management

• Ensure full compliance with applicable Labour Laws and statutory regulations.

• Manage audits, inspections, and documentation.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal frameworks.

🔹 Supplier Code of Conduct & Customer Audits

• Handle audits from major automotive customers such as:

  • Maruti Suzuki

  • Tata Motors

  • Hyundai

  • Global export clients

• Ensure adherence to Supplier Code of Conduct and compliance standards.

• Prepare documentation and lead audit presentations confidently.

🔹 HR Operations

• Oversee payroll, attendance, HRIS, and employee records.

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and manpower planning.

• Handle disciplinary processes and grievance management.

🔹 Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the HR team.

• Maintain strong coordination with production, quality, and management teams.

Eligibility Criteria

🎓 Education

• Master’s Degree / MBA in Human Resources or related field (Preferred)

📌 Experience

• 6–7 years of proven experience as an HR Manager / Head of HR

• Mandatory experience in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry

💻 Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with:

  • HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems)

  • Payroll software

  • Compliance documentation systems

🧠 Knowledge Requirements

• Deep understanding of:

  • Labour Laws

  • Factory compliance

  • Automotive industry HR practices

🤝 Soft Skills

• Strong leadership ability

• Negotiation skills

• Excellent presentation and audit-handling capability

• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
