Orbit Global HR, a leading Executive Search & Leadership Hiring firm, is hiring for a high-growth SaaS technology company. We are looking for a Manager – FP&A who will drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial insights for the business.
This role offers an opportunity to work closely with leadership and contribute to strategic decision-making in a fast-scaling technology environment.
Role Overview
The Manager – FP&A will play a critical role in financial strategy, business performance analysis, and management reporting. The position will partner with cross-functional teams to drive financial insights, support growth initiatives, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Reporting
Prepare entity-wise and consolidated monthly financial reports with insights for management review.
Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.
Provide variance analysis and financial performance insights to leadership.
SaaS Financial Modeling & Metrics
Build and maintain financial models covering key SaaS metrics, including:
ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue)
MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue)
Churn Rate
Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
Lifetime Value (LTV)
Gross Margin & Unit Economics
Track business performance and identify drivers impacting growth and profitability.
Strategic Business Partnering
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Evaluate new initiatives, pricing models, product launches, and go-to-market strategies.
Perform ROI analysis on marketing campaigns, hiring decisions, and product investments.
Management & Investor Reporting
Develop management dashboards and board-level reports.
Support investor reporting and fundraising activities when required.
Financial Process & Controls
Strengthen financial processes and reporting frameworks as the organization scales.
Ensure compliance with financial controls and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
Mandatory Criteria (Screening Requirements)
Candidates must meet all the following criteria:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
Minimum 5 years of post-CA experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
Experience working with SaaS or subscription-based companies
Strong understanding of SaaS financial metrics and revenue recognition models
Hands-on experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Required Skills
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and subscription revenue models
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
Exposure to BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker preferred
Strategic thinking with strong business acumen
Ability to communicate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
