Job Overview

Orbit Global HR Consultants LLP is hiring a 3D Designer Specialist – POSM (Point of Sale Material) Designer for a leading advertising and branding agency.

The role involves creating innovative and visually engaging 3D designs for retail displays, signage, POSM materials, and promotional branding elements used in retail environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with marketing teams, clients, and production units to design effective POS displays that enhance brand visibility and influence customer purchasing decisions at the point of sale.

This position is ideal for professionals with experience in 3D design, retail branding, display fabrication, and advertising production design.

Key Responsibilities

Concept Development

• Conceptualize and design creative POSM displays, retail stands, signage, and promotional branding materials.

• Develop innovative design concepts aligned with brand identity and marketing campaigns.

Client & Team Collaboration

• Collaborate with clients, marketing teams, and internal stakeholders to understand product positioning and promotional goals.

• Translate marketing strategies into impactful POSM design concepts.

3D Modeling & Design

• Create detailed 3D models of POSM materials using professional design software.

• Ensure designs accurately represent the structure, materials, and dimensions of the final product.

Visualization & Rendering

• Produce high-quality 3D renderings and visual presentations to demonstrate how POS displays will appear in retail environments.

• Use realistic lighting, textures, and materials for accurate visualization.

Material & Texture Selection

• Select suitable textures, materials, and color schemes to enhance visual appeal and brand consistency.

Prototype Development

• Assist in creating mock-ups and prototypes to test design feasibility before production.

Production Coordination

• Work closely with fabrication teams and production units to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.

• Consider cost, material availability, and production limitations.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure all designs meet brand guidelines, quality standards, and production requirements.

Design Adaptation

• Modify and refine designs based on client feedback, manufacturing constraints, or budget considerations.

Technology & Innovation

• Stay updated with the latest 3D design tools, rendering technologies, and retail display trends.

Required Skills

• Strong 3D modeling and visualization skills

• Experience designing POSM displays, retail branding elements, and promotional displays

• Proficiency in 3D design software such as AutoCAD, Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp, or similar tools

• Knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and manufacturing processes

• Strong creative thinking and concept development abilities

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects

• Ability to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field

• 3–6 years of experience in 3D design, preferably in POSM or retail display design

• Strong portfolio showcasing POSM or retail display design projects

Preferred Experience

Additional Information
