Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead and manage end-to-end finance, accounting, taxation, compliance, and banking operations for a well-established manufacturing organization. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance, financial accuracy, legal coordination, and efficient accounting operations across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities (JD / KRA)

1. Legal & Compliance Management

• Handle company legal matters and cases including documentation preparation and submission.

• Liaise with lawyers and attend hearings when required.

• Manage compliance documentation and statutory submissions.

2. Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Extract and analyze data from Tally ERP for management reporting.

• Prepare financial reports for management, government departments, and regulatory authorities.

• Monitor overdue customer reports and conduct receivable analysis.

• Supervise accounting activities across multiple companies/entities.

3. Banking & Financial Operations

• Manage day-to-day banking activities including:

  • Online payments & receipts

  • Bank reconciliations

  • FDR management

  • Banking documentation

• Liaise regularly with bankers for DP statements, financial reports, and compliance data submission.

4. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Preparation and finalization of Income Tax Returns.

• Handle Income Tax assessments and departmental matters in coordination with CA.

• Manage GST compliance, notices, and departmental liaison.

• Ensure timely TDS & TCS compliance and return submissions.

• Handle MSME and statistical returns.

5. Customs & Regulatory Compliance

• Manage Customs annexure returns and customs legal matters.

• Handle IGCR-related compliance including annexure preparation and utilization tracking.

6. Operations & Team Management

• Supervise warehouse-related accounting affairs.

• Lead and manage a team of minimum 5 accountants.

• Ensure process discipline, accuracy, and compliance across departments.

7. Additional Compliance Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to all applicable statutory laws and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

• Maintain strong documentation and compliance records.

Candidate Requirements

✅ Minimum 15+ years total experience in Accounts & Finance
✅ Minimum 3 years as Accounts Manager in a manufacturing company (₹50 Cr+ turnover preferred)
✅ Experience handling multiple company accounts
✅ Strong proficiency in Tally ERP
✅ Experience managing taxation, compliance, and legal coordination
✅ Proven team handling experience (minimum 5 members)
✅ Strong analytical, compliance, and coordination skills
