📍 Location: Gurgaon – Udyog Vihar, Phase 3 (Work from Office only)

🔍 Role Overview

We are hiring an Assistant Manager – People Operations (HR) for a fast-growing FMCG startup environment.

This is a hands-on role with 80% focus on Talent Acquisition (Non-IT, Offline Sales hiring) and 20% focus on HR Operations.
The role is ideal for candidates who are execution-oriented, comfortable with aggressive hiring targets and thrive in fast-paced startup setups.


⚠️ Mandatory Screening Criteria

(Profiles not meeting the below criteria will not be considered)

  • Female candidates only

  • Gurgaon-based candidates only

  • Must be willing to work from office – Udyog Vihar, Phase 3

  • 3 to 4 years of Non-IT recruitment experience

  • Mandatory hands-on experience in Offline Sales hiring for FMCG brands (GT / MT)

  • Proven experience in bulk and lateral hiring for field sales roles:

    • ASM

    • Sales Officers

    • Promoters

    • Supervisors

  • Startup experience is mandatory

  • Strong ownership of end-to-end recruitment lifecycle

  • Experience using:

    • Job portals

    • Field hiring

    • Referrals

    • Vendor coordination

  • Ability to manage:

    • Aggressive hiring targets

    • Quick closures

    • Low TAT

  • Basic exposure to HR operations and compliance processes


🎯 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Talent Acquisition – 80%

  • Handle end-to-end hiring for Offline Sales roles including:

    • General Trade (GT)

    • Modern Trade (MT)

    • Field Sales roles – ASM, SO, Promoters, Supervisors, etc.

  • Manage bulk and lateral hiring across multiple locations and sales teams

  • Source candidates through:

    • Job portals (Naukri, Indeed, etc.)

    • Field hiring activities

    • Employee referrals

    • External vendors

  • Conduct initial screening and interviews

  • Coordinate closely with business and sales stakeholders for closures

  • Drive:

    • Fast turnaround time (TAT)

    • High offer-to-joining ratios

  • Maintain:

    • Hiring trackers

    • Recruitment MIS

    • Dashboards and reports

  • Ensure strong candidate engagement and follow-ups for smooth onboarding


🔹 HR Operations – 20%

  • Support employee onboarding and joining formalities

  • Coordinate documentation and employee records

  • Update and maintain HRMS data

  • Support attendance and leave management processes

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees on routine HR queries

  • Ensure HR process adherence and basic compliance support


🎓 Required Skills & Experience

  • 3 to 4 years of experience in Non-IT recruitment

  • Mandatory experience in Offline Sales hiring for FMCG brands (GT / MT)

  • Mandatory experience in startup or high-growth environments

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Ground-level sales hiring challenges

    • Field recruitment realities

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight hiring deadlines

  • Strong stakeholder and candidate management skills

  • Excellent communication and follow-up abilities

  • High ownership, execution-driven and problem-solving mindset
