Role Overview
The Co-Founder & CEO / COO will have full responsibility for:
Culture & DNA creation
Business strategy and P&L ownership
Client acquisition and new business
Client leadership and stewardship
Overall agency direction and growth
This is an entrepreneurial leadership role with institutional backing.
Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Business & Strategy
Define positioning, service offerings, and go-to-market strategy
Build short- and long-term growth plans aligned with profitability
Own complete P&L and financial performance
Collaborate with group leadership to leverage ecosystem strengths
2️⃣ Client Leadership & New Business
Act as the primary face of the agency
Drive senior client relationships
Lead pitch strategy and new business acquisition
Build a strong mix of retained and project-based revenue
Ensure high standards of thinking, output, and delivery
3️⃣ Team & Culture
Build and lead senior leadership across creative, strategy, and business
Create culture codes and organisational DNA
Attract top talent and drive accountability
Build a performance-driven yet collaborative environment
4️⃣ Brand & Market Presence
Re-establish the agency as a credible industry brand
Drive visibility through impactful work and client success
Position the agency as commercially mature and creatively strong
⚠️ Mandatory Criteria (Non-Negotiable)
Currently in a No. 2 / No. 3 leadership role at a reputed advertising or marketing agency.
15–20 years of experience in advertising, marketing, or integrated communications.
Proven track record in:
Business growth & revenue management
Client relationship leadership
Team building at scale
Strong understanding of traditional brand communication and modern digital ecosystems.
Experience owning revenue streams, key client relationships, and P&L.
Demonstrated business growth and new business acquisition success.
Strong history of leading pitches and senior client stewardship.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
Be commercially sharp with strong strategic judgment
Have built revenue streams and handled large teams
Possess entrepreneurial intent
Be ready to take full ownership and accountability
Have credibility within the industry ecosystem
Experience & Skills
15–20 years in advertising / marketing / integrated communications
Proven P&L ownership
Strong client acquisition capability
High credibility with clients and peers
Strong business & strategic analytics capability
Good to Have:
MBA in Marketing from reputed institute
Prior entrepreneurial stint (successful or failed)
Compensation Structure
This is designed as a Co-Founder / Business Partner role, not a conventional CEO/COO hire.
The structure may include:
Base fixed salary (to cover essential commitments)
Significant performance-linked variable tied to revenue & growth
Long-term upside including ESOP participation
