Role Overview

Orbit Global is hiring a Creative Producer – Web Series for a premium OTT platform. This is a senior-level role for a visionary creative leader who will own the end-to-end lifecycle of original web series content, from ideation to release.

You will drive creative strategy, develop original IPs, lead cross-functional creative teams, and ensure every project delivers cinematic quality, cultural authenticity, and strong audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Strategy & IP Development

• Lead the overall creative vision for original web series content.

• Ideate, develop, and scale original IPs across genres.

• Collaborate with writers, directors, and producers to craft culturally resonant, high-impact stories.

• Ensure creative consistency and storytelling excellence from concept to release.

Content Production & Execution

• Own the complete content lifecycle: concept, scripting, production, post-production, and launch.

• Supervise pre-production, production, and post-production workflows.

• Deliver projects within defined budgets and timelines without compromising creative quality.

• Maintain a strong annual content pipeline aligned with platform strategy.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor creative producers, writers, and production teams.

• Work closely with marketing, analytics, and business teams to align content with performance goals.

• Foster a culture of creative ownership, innovation, and accountability.

Audience & Platform Insights

• Track audience behavior, content trends, and performance metrics.

• Apply data insights to refine storytelling and content strategy.

• Identify opportunities for IP extensions, spin-offs, and multi-platform storytelling.

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• 8+ years of experience in web series creation or creative leadership roles

• 5+ years of hands-on web series production experience

• 3+ years of OTT / platform-based content creation experience

• Proven ownership of end-to-end content lifecycle

• Strong command over cinematic storytelling, narrative structure, and audience psychology

• Deep understanding of:

  • Pre-production: casting, budgeting, locations, treatments

  • Post-production: editing, sound, BGM, DI, VFX

• Proven experience leading and mentoring creative teams

• Ability to balance creative vision with budgets, timelines, and business goals

• Strong cultural understanding of regional / Hindi-speaking belt sensibilities
