We are hiring experienced professionals for leadership roles in Diamond Production for a reputed jewellery manufacturing group in Kerala.

Candidates with strong experience in diamond ornament manufacturing and proven leadership capabilities will be prioritized.

1️⃣ Position: Head – Production (Diamonds)

📍 Location: Production Unit – Calicut (Supporting Thrissur Operations)
📊 Role Level: Managerial

• Functional: CTP Committee

• Administrative: DGM – Purchase

🔹 Role Overview

The Head – Production will coordinate and oversee diamond ornament production and polishing operations across Calicut and Thrissur units. The role carries end-to-end accountability for manufacturing excellence, quality assurance, gold conversion processes, and operational efficiency.

The incumbent will drive best-in-class production practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the production ecosystem.

🔹 Key Responsibilities (KRA & KPI)

💎 Diamond Ornament Production

• Design, develop, and supervise manufacturing of new diamond ornaments.

• Oversee stone setting, finishing, and adherence to market trends.

• Ensure innovation aligned with customer demand.

💎 Loose Diamond Sorting & Re-Production

• Collect loose diamonds obtained after melting processes.

• Sort diamonds based on size, color, and quality.

• Utilize suitable diamonds for manufacturing new ornaments.

💎 Diamond Polishing & Coloring

• Supervise movement of ornaments between CDP and polishing units.

• Oversee polishing and coloring quality standards.

• Ensure strict quality inspection before dispatch.

🏭 Production Oversight

• Supervise ornament production (bangles, back chains, hooks, etc.).

• Oversee coin and locket manufacturing units.

• Ensure adherence to weight and purity standards.

🪙 Gold Processing & Management

• Source 24kt gold bars from CTP.

• Oversee melting into 14K, 18K, 22K gold sheets.

• Ensure specimen purity testing.

• Manage gold sheet distribution to production units.

• Control collection and re-melting of cutting waste.

📦 Dispatch & Logistics

• Ensure secure dispatch of polished ornaments to CDP.

• Coordinate dispatch of finished products to CTP.

📋 Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain detailed inward and outward production records.

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations.

• Manage petty cash as per company guidelines.

🔹 Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in diamond jewellery production & polishing practices.

• Leadership and team management capability.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Knowledge of gold purity standards and manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with statutory compliance in jewellery manufacturing.

• Basic computer proficiency and production documentation systems.

🔹 Education & Experience

• Pre-Degree / ITI qualification.

• Minimum 12 years of jewellery industry experience.

• At least 2 years in an independent leadership role.

• Strong experience in diamond production is mandatory.

• Full-time physical presence at production unit.

• Indoor working environment.

• Exposure to tight deadlines and operational pressure.

• Minimal to moderate travel between Thrissur & Calicut units.

🔹 Role Overview

The Manager – Production will support the Head of Production in supervising diamond ornament manufacturing, gold conversion processes, polishing operations, and quality assurance across the production units.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities in diamond ornament manufacturing.

• Monitor polishing and coloring processes.

• Ensure strict quality control measures.

• Oversee melting and gold sheet conversion processes.

• Coordinate with goldsmiths and production assistants.

• Maintain production documentation and compliance.

• Assist in dispatch management and inventory control.

🔹 Eligibility Criteria

• 8–10 years of experience in diamond jewellery production.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of stone setting, polishing, and finishing.

• Leadership and team handling experience.

• Malayalam language proficiency preferred.
