Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced E-commerce Executive / Manager to drive online sales and brand presence across marketplaces, quick commerce platforms, and D2C channels for a fast-growing food/FMCG organization.
This role is ideal for a candidate who combines strong analytical skills with relationship management, and has hands-on experience managing e-commerce operations for food, FMCG, or CPG brands. You will be responsible for platform growth, campaign execution, performance tracking, and ensuring a seamless customer experience across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketplace & Platform Management
Manage end-to-end sales operations across major platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, Jiomart, BigBasket, Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, Zepto, and other relevant marketplaces
Build and maintain strong working relationships with category managers, vendor operations, and merchandising teams
Pitch new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and exclusive promotions to platform partners
Coordinate with onboarding and procurement teams of quick commerce platforms to ensure smooth listing and inventory flow
2. Product Listings & Content Optimization
Own complete catalog management including product onboarding, titles, descriptions, specifications, keywords, and SEO alignment
Ensure accuracy of pricing, availability, images, compliance requirements, and content across platforms
Coordinate with internal or external design/content teams for banners, creatives, and enhanced/A+ content
3. Performance Marketing & Promotions
Work closely with digital marketing teams or agencies to execute sponsored ads, display ads, coupons, and platform-led promotions
Plan discount strategies, bundles, flash sales, and seasonal offers aligned with brand and category goals
Track and optimize ROAS, CPC, CTR, and campaign-level performance metrics
4. Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze daily/weekly sales performance, customer behavior, and competitor benchmarks
Track key KPIs such as sales velocity, conversion rates, cart abandonment, inventory turnover, and campaign ROI
Prepare regular performance reports and actionable insights for management and cross-functional teams
Use tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, platform dashboards, and Google Analytics
5. Inventory Planning & Order Fulfillment
Coordinate with warehouse, supply chain, and 3PL partners to ensure timely order processing and dispatch
Forecast demand based on sales trends, campaigns, and seasonal spikes
Monitor and reduce cancellations, returns, stock-outs, and operational inefficiencies
6. Customer Experience & Brand Reputation
Monitor customer reviews, ratings, and feedback across all online platforms
Work with customer support teams to ensure quick resolution of complaints, refunds, and delivery issues
Drive review generation initiatives and loyalty programs to strengthen online brand credibility
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field
Experience: 3–4 years of hands-on experience managing e-commerce operations for FMCG, food, or CPG brands
Platform Experience:
Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub
Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, Zepto, BigBasket
Shopify or WooCommerce (D2C website management)
Key Skills:
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets
Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret sales and marketing metrics
Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple platforms and work cross-functionally with design, supply chain, finance, and marketing teams
Preferred Attributes
Existing relationships with category or procurement teams at quick commerce or marketplace platforms
Understanding of logistics, warehousing, and packaging requirements for e-commerce and quick commerce
Experience managing P&L for e-commerce accounts or coordinating with performance marketing agencies
