Role Overview

Orbit Global, a leading executive search and HR consulting firm, is hiring an Engineering Manager – Web & Mobile Applications for a fast-scaling HealthTech SaaS platform.

This is a hands-on engineering leadership role where you will own the end-to-end delivery of web and mobile products, lead a high-performing engineering team, and collaborate closely with product and design stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality healthcare technology solutions.

Role Purpose

To lead the successful execution of the company’s web and mobile application roadmap by combining technical expertise, people leadership, and delivery ownership, while ensuring engineering excellence and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of web and mobile applications including development, deployment, and maintenance.

• Lead, mentor, and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and mobile development.

• Remain hands-on with coding and architecture where required.

• Drive engineering best practices across:

  • Code quality

  • Testing and security

  • Scalability and performance

• Actively participate in code reviews and design reviews.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

• Lead agile execution including sprint planning, delivery tracking, and release management.

• Track team performance, delivery timelines, and quality metrics.

• Champion continuous improvement in engineering processes and tooling.

• Ensure stable, scalable, and secure systems suitable for a HealthTech SaaS environment.

Mandatory Screening Criteria (Non-Negotiable)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 7+ years of overall engineering experience.

• Minimum 2 years in an engineering leadership role.

• Proven hands-on experience leading web and mobile product development.

• Strong expertise in:

  • Web: React, Node.js

  • Mobile: Flutter and/or iOS / Android

• Proven ownership of end-to-end product delivery.

• Strong experience with agile development methodologies.

• Deep understanding of code quality, testing, security, and scalability.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Preferred Background

• Experience working in HealthTech SaaS or regulated digital platforms.

• Experience scaling products used by real-world customers.

• Comfort working in fast-growing, product-led environments.
