💼 Job Summary

We are hiring an Executive Microbiologist / Junior Microbiologist to support R&D and Quality Control microbiology functions.

The role involves microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, lab operations, and compliance with regulatory standards, contributing to the development of safe and high-quality botanical products.

🔬 Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiological testing of raw materials, finished products, and water samples
• Use aseptic techniques for culturing and isolating microorganisms
• Identify microorganisms based on morphological and physiological characteristics
• Operate and maintain lab equipment such as Autoclaves, Incubators, Microscopes, LAF, BSC
• Record test results accurately and prepare analysis reports
• Maintain laboratory records as per SOPs and regulatory guidelines (GLP, GMP, ISO)
• Conduct environmental monitoring (air, surface, personnel hygiene)
• Support quality control checks of raw and finished products
• Assist in validation and calibration of equipment and methods
• Ensure adherence to biosafety and hygiene protocols
• Participate in audits and inspections
• Handle and dispose of biohazardous materials safely
• Coordinate with QA, Production, and R&D teams
• Support senior microbiologists in projects and investigations

🧠 Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of microbiology techniques and lab practices
• Familiarity with GLP, GMP, ISO standards
• Good understanding of aseptic techniques and contamination control
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Basic knowledge of lab equipment handling and maintenance
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

🎓 Qualification & Experience

• M.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology
• 1–2 years of experience in microbiology lab / QC / R&D environment
