Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Head with strong expertise in the Jewellery Retail Industry to lead the Human Resources function for a leading jewellery brand. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience managing HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, and compliance within the jewellery retail sector.

This role will be responsible for driving HR strategy, supporting business expansion, and building a strong workforce across multiple store locations.

Note: Candidates without Jewellery Industry experience will not be considered.


Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Partner with leadership teams to support organizational growth.

  • Drive workforce planning for retail stores and corporate functions.

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead recruitment strategies for showroom staff, store managers, and corporate roles.

  • Build strong talent pipelines within the jewellery retail sector.

  • Ensure timely hiring for new store openings and business expansion.

HR Operations

  • Oversee the complete employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmation, and exit processes.

  • Implement HR policies and standard operating procedures.

  • Manage HR systems and documentation.

Employee Engagement

  • Develop engagement initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention.

  • Promote a positive work culture across retail locations.

Performance Management

  • Implement performance management frameworks.

  • Monitor employee performance and support leadership development programs.

Compliance & Labour Laws

  • Ensure adherence to labour laws and statutory compliance.

  • Handle employee relations and disciplinary matters.

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and conduct development programs for store staff and management teams.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Manage compensation structures and employee benefits.

  • Benchmark salaries within the jewellery retail industry.


Required Qualifications

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related field

  • Minimum 10–15 years of HR experience

  • Mandatory experience in the Jewellery Retail Industry

  • Experience managing HR for multi-location retail operations

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
