You’ll join a manufacturing company where every order you support turns into real products on the shop floor and real solutions at customer sites. Your role sits at the heart of sales operations – connecting customers, field sales, production, and design.

3️⃣ Your Mission – What You’ll Do

Your role is to support and strengthen the sales function from inside the office, ensuring that every enquiry is handled quickly, accurately and professionally.

You will:

  • Be the first point of contact for customers (25%)

    • Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email and occasional in‑person visits at the office.

    • Ask the right questions to understand their application, quantities, specs and timelines.

    • Ensure every enquiry is logged and acknowledged so no opportunity is missed.

  • Prepare quotations and pre‑sales documents (30%)

    • Understand client requirements and propose suitable technical options in coordination with sales/engineering.

    • Prepare price offers, tender forms, comparison sheets and basic technical documents.

    • Follow up on sent quotations and keep the sales team updated on status.

  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution (20%)

    • Work closely with production, planning and design teams to check feasibility, lead times and any technical clarifications.

    • Align agreed delivery schedules with the customer and update them in case of changes.

  • Handle order processing & records (15%)

    • Convert confirmed orders / POs into internal order entries as per process.

    • Ensure correct pricing, terms and delivery dates are captured.

    • Maintain up‑to‑date sales documentation, order trackers and customer databases in Excel/ERP.

  • Support business growth & collections (10%)

    • Assist in identifying potential leads from enquiries, past customers and inbound contacts.

    • Coordinate follow‑ups for pending payments, maintain proper records and flag delays to sales/accounts.

    • Support basic after‑sales coordination to keep customers informed and satisfied.

This work helps you build strong grounding in industrial B2B sales, documentation and customer handling – a great platform for future roles in key account management or field sales.


4️⃣ Requirements – Who Succeeds in This Role

🟢 Essential

  • Female candidate, comfortable in a customer-facing office role.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing / industrial company in sales support, inside sales, customer service, coordination or similar role.

  • Education: Any Diploma or Degree (engineering or science background preferred, but not mandatory if you understand industrial products).

  • Proficient in MS Office tools – especially Excel (trackers, basic reports), Word (quotes) and Outlook (email communication).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – clear, polite and professional with customers and internal teams.

  • Good understanding of how a manufacturing setup works (orders, production, dispatch, basic terminology).

  • High attention to detail for pricing, quantities, delivery dates and documentation.

  • Organised, disciplined and comfortable handling multiple enquiries and follow‑ups at the same time.

🟡 Nice-to-Have / Added Advantage

  • Prior experience as an Inside Sales / Sales Coordinator / Application Support for industrial products.

  • Comfort in reading basic technical drawings, BOQs or specs.

  • Experience working with CRM / ERP or order‑management software.
