⭐ About the Role
Orbit Global HR Consultants is hiring a Program Manager – Operations for a fast-scaling, high-growth travel-tech organisation. This role is ideal for experienced professionals from E-commerce, Travel Tech, or Startup ecosystems who can own P&L, lead cross-functional initiatives, drive operational excellence, and build programs from 0 to 1.
The Program Manager will lead business verticals end-to-end, collaborate with senior leadership, run pilots, optimize processes, and execute initiatives that directly impact growth and profitability.

⭐ Key Responsibilities
📌 Business P&L Ownership
Own the P&L for a defined vertical, ensuring profitability, cost efficiency, and sustainable growth.
Manage financial planning, route strategy, pricing inputs, and overall business performance.
📌 Execution & Operational Excellence
Drive smooth execution of daily operations with measurable performance metrics.
Resolve operational bottlenecks and ensure consistency, reliability, and efficiency.
📌 Data-Driven Insights & Decision Making
Analyze performance trends, customer behavior, demand patterns, and cost structures.
Present actionable insights that influence strategic planning and process improvements.
📌 Process Optimization & Scalability
Identify workflow inefficiencies; implement scalable solutions to enhance productivity.
Improve operational SOPs, reduce costs, and maximize ROI for teams and business units.
📌 Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with Operations, Supply, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams.
Ensure consistent alignment across departments for seamless program execution.
📌 Pilot Projects & Growth Initiatives
Design and run pilots to test new business ideas, operational models, or product initiatives.
Evaluate outcomes, prepare plans for scaling, and ensure cross-team support for execution.
📌 Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
Build dashboards, reports, and business reviews for leadership.
Communicate clearly with AVP-level & department heads on strategy, execution, and results.
⭐ Mandatory Criteria (Must Meet All)
4–6 years of experience in Program Management, Business Operations, Category Management, or roles involving P&L ownership.
Education:
Engineering degree (Tier 1 preferred), OR
MBA from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutes.
Preferably from E-commerce / Quick-commerce companies (e.g., Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, Snapdeal).
Experience in route strategy, profitability analysis, cost optimisation, and financial planning.
Proven ability to build programs from 0 to 1 (strategy → execution → scale).
Strong track record in process improvement, operational optimisation, and ROI maximisation.
Hands-on experience managing daily execution and operations.
Strong cross-functional collaboration experience across Supply, Ops, Marketing, Product & Finance.
Ability to run pilots, experiments, and large-scale growth initiatives.
Capability to independently lead and manage an entire business vertical.
