🎯 Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by executing effective sales strategies, expanding market reach, and managing key customer relationships. The role also involves leading the sales team to achieve business targets.
🛠️ Products to Sell
The candidate will be responsible for selling and promoting:
Diesel Generator Sets (Gensets) – Industrial & commercial power backup solutions
Genset Spare Parts – Filters, alternators, batteries, controllers, and engine components
RECD (Residual Earth Current Devices) – Electrical safety products
Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) – Service & maintenance for gensets
After-Sales Services – Installation, repair, and technical support
Power Solutions & Accessories – Electrical panels, cables, and related components
Preference: Candidates with experience working with Cummins partners or similar OEMs will be highly preferred.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
📈 Sales & Business Development
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual targets
Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments
Build strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and OEMs
Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures
Prepare sales proposals, forecasts, and pipeline reports
🤝 Customer Management
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Manage key accounts and strategic clients
Resolve customer issues in coordination with internal teams
👥 Team Management
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team
Set KPIs/KRAs and track team performance
Conduct regular reviews and training sessions
📊 Market Intelligence & Reporting
Track market trends, competitors, and customer insights
Support pricing and product positioning strategies
Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and forecasts
🔄 Coordination & Compliance
Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, service, finance, operations)
Ensure compliance with company policies and commercial processes
🎓 Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales/Marketing, or related field
💼 Experience
5 – 8 years of experience in B2B & B2C Sales
Industry preference: Gensets, Spare Parts, Electrical Equipment (RECD)
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Experience managing teams and key accounts
