Senior Manager / AGM – Finance & Accounts Selaqui, Dehradun, Uttarakhand (Plant Location)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager / AGM – Finance & Accounts to lead the complete financial operations of a manufacturing plant. This is a leadership position requiring strong expertise in financial management, statutory compliance, manufacturing costing, and import/export finance operations.

The role will act as a key business partner to senior leadership, driving financial discipline, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making across plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

A. Financial Management & Reporting

• Manage the complete accounting cycle including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, payroll, vendor payments, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, TCS, Income Tax, and statutory regulations within defined timelines.

• Provide financial analytics and strategic insights to management for business decision-making.

B. Manufacturing Finance & Cost Control

• Develop and implement costing systems to monitor production costs and improve operational efficiency.

• Prepare standard cost sheets and BOM costing.

• Conduct product-wise profitability and cost analysis.

• Work closely with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to optimize inventory and working capital.

C. Import & Export Finance (Critical Responsibility)

• Manage financial aspects of international trade transactions, including foreign remittances and export documentation.

• Ensure compliance with FEMA regulations, RBI reporting, and EOU/SEZ norms.

• Handle EDPMS/IDPMS ERP entries related to export shipments.

• Track export incentives and coordinate GST/export credit processes.

D. ERP & Systems Management

• Utilize ERP systems for financial control and reporting.

• Generate MIS reports, dashboards, and financial analysis for senior management.

• Drive automation initiatives and improve finance process efficiency.

E. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor the finance & accounts team.

• Build a culture of accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with plant operations and senior leadership for financial alignment.

• Drive process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

• CA / CMA preferred

• MBA (Finance) from reputed institute may be considered

• ICWA (Inter) with strong manufacturing exposure acceptable

Experience

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in manufacturing finance.

• Exposure to medical devices, pharmaceutical, or regulated industries preferred.

Compensation

CTC: ₹10 – ₹14 Lakhs per annum
(Commensurate with experience and profile fit)
