Your Mission – What You’ll Do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth and product promotion across textile customers, with a strong focus on fabrics and yarns.
You will gain end-to-end exposure to business development, product positioning, and customer engagement, working directly with decision-makers in the textile industry.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Business Development & Sales Growth (45%)
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in fabrics, yarns, and related textile products
- Build long-term relationships with manufacturers, traders, and large accounts
- Convert opportunities into sustainable revenue streams
- Product Promotion & Development Support (25%)
- Act as the bridge between technical understanding and commercial needs
- Support product positioning, sampling, and customer education
- Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen product-market fit
- Customer Relationship Management (20%)
- Maintain strong engagement with existing clients to increase repeat business
- Understand customer requirements and market trends
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term retention
- Market Intelligence & Strategy (10%)
- Track fabric, yarn, weaving, and knitting trends
- Share insights to support strategic decisions and portfolio expansion
This role gives you visibility, autonomy, and influence across the textile value chain.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Requirements
You will succeed in this role if you have:
- 4–6 years of experience in textiles (fabric, yarn, weaving, knitting, or related areas)
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, yarns, weaving & knitting processes
- B.Tech in Textiles (mandatory)
- Experience in business promotion, sales, or product development within textiles
- Ability to communicate confidently with technical and commercial stakeholders
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset
Nice-to-Have (Strong Advantage)
- Exposure to multiple fabric categories
- Experience handling large or strategic textile accounts
- Market knowledge of Surat or North/West India textile hubs
- Ability to work independently while influencing cross-functional teams
