Role Overview
Orbit is hiring a Social Media & Community Manager on behalf of a fast-growing FMCG brand in the homecare segment.
This role is ideal for a hands-on social media professional who understands how to build brand presence, engage communities, and grow organic reach across platforms. You will manage day-to-day social execution, creator collaborations, and community engagement while supporting both consumer (B2C) and OEM (B2B) visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Manage daily posting and scheduling across:
Instagram
Facebook
YouTube
LinkedIn
Pinterest
Ensure consistent brand tone, visual alignment, and messaging across platforms.
Execute platform-specific best practices for organic growth.
Content Planning & Calendars
Create and manage monthly content calendars aligned with brand priorities, launches, and campaigns.
Coordinate with design, content, and marketing teams for timely execution.
Balance brand, product, educational, and trend-led content formats.
Community Management
Actively engage with followers by managing:
Comments
DMs
Product queries and basic customer interactions
Build a positive, responsive, and informed brand community.
Escalate feedback, insights, and issues to relevant internal teams.
Creator & Influencer Collaboration
Coordinate micro and nano influencer (UGC) collaborations.
Manage outreach, coordination, content briefs, and posting schedules.
Support authentic, community-driven content creation.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Track and report key organic metrics including:
Reach
Engagement
Follower growth
Share insights on what content formats and topics perform best.
B2B / OEM Social Support
Support OEM visibility through LinkedIn-focused content.
Assist in creating and posting:
B2B updates
Case studies
Partnership-led content
Trend Monitoring & Agile Content
Track platform trends, formats, audio, and memes.
Execute fast-turnaround content while maintaining brand relevance and quality.
Candidate Profile
2–5 years of experience in social media management or community roles.
Prior experience with FMCG, homecare, personal care, or lifestyle brands preferred.
Strong understanding of organic social platforms and content formats.
Comfortable managing communities, creators, and day-to-day execution.
Organized, responsive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Data-aware mindset with a basic understanding of social analytics.
