About the Role

We are hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist – Technical/IT Hiring to strengthen the technology hiring function for a fast-paced, project-driven consulting organization. This role requires strong hands-on IT recruitment expertise, advanced sourcing skills, and the ability to partner closely with hiring managers and technical stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage end-to-end IT recruitment from sourcing to offer closure

  • Hire for a wide range of technical and IT roles, including Software Developers, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, BI, QA, Cloud/DevOps, IT Support, UI/UX, and Technical Project Managers

  • Build strong talent pipelines using advanced sourcing methods beyond job portals (LinkedIn, tech communities, referrals, talent mapping, passive hiring)

  • Draft and publish accurate, role-specific technical job descriptions

  • Screen resumes, assess technical fit, and coordinate technical interviews

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and tech leaders to understand requirements, forecast demand, and close roles efficiently

  • Manage interview coordination, candidate communication, and stakeholder follow-ups

  • Maintain and track ATS data, recruitment metrics, and hiring dashboards

  • Ensure a positive and high-touch candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle

  • Manage recruitment vendors, agencies, and external staffing partners

  • Support onboarding coordination with HR operations and HRIS teams

  • Stay updated on tech hiring trends, market availability, and compensation benchmarks


Mandatory Requirements (Screening Criteria)

  • 4–7 years of hands-on IT / technical recruitment experience in product or tech-heavy environments

  • Proven ownership of full-cycle technical hiring

  • Experience hiring niche and mid-to-senior level tech roles

  • Strong expertise in Boolean search, ATS platforms, talent mapping, and passive sourcing

  • Ability to work closely with hiring managers and technical stakeholders

  • Strong communication, coordination, and candidate management skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (Technical background or MBA preferred)


Preferred / Added Advantage

  • Experience in consulting, analytics, public policy, or large-scale project environments
