Job Summary
We are looking for a senior HR & Industrial Relations leader to head the HR and IR function for our manufacturing operations in Nagpur. The role will be responsible for managing trade unions, collective bargaining, labour law compliance, and strategic HR leadership.
The candidate must have strong experience handling unions in plant environments and managing large workforce operations while maintaining a stable industrial relations climate.
Key Responsibilities
Industrial Relations & Union Management
Lead union negotiations and collective bargaining agreements.
Manage relationships with trade unions and union leaders.
Handle industrial disputes, conciliation proceedings, and labour litigation.
Drive long-term wage settlements and IR strategies.
Maintain harmonious industrial relations across the plant.
Strategic HR Leadership
Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with business goals.
Lead workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
Drive employee engagement and productivity initiatives.
Labour Law Compliance
Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations including:
Industrial Disputes Act
Factories Act
Contract Labour Act
Minimum Wages Act
Standing Orders Act
Trade Union Act
Coordinate with labour authorities and government bodies.
Plant HR Operations
Oversee HR operations for the manufacturing unit in Nagpur.
Manage contract labour, workforce discipline, and plant HR processes.
Support plant leadership in conflict resolution and workforce management.
