Position: Analytics Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Analytics Engineer to lead data modeling, data pipeline, and visualization initiatives in a dynamic Media & Entertainment company headquartered in Noida Sector 125.

You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to design end-to-end analytics solutions—from data ingestion to semantic modeling to dashboarding. The role requires deep technical knowledge in SQL, dbt, and data warehousing, combined with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data models to support analytics and visualization platforms.

• Build and optimize data pipelines and transformations using dbt and modern data stack tools.

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to define requirements and deliver actionable insights.

• Manage the entire data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation to visualization and reporting.

• Drive data automation efforts to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Implement and maintain data quality frameworks to detect anomalies and ensure reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare data for new product launches or features.

• Conduct root-cause analyses to resolve data discrepancies and maintain system integrity.

• Develop best practices for data governance, documentation, and analytics standards.

• Support CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows for analytics and data engineering.

Candidate Requirements

Experience: 4–8 years in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence (BI), preferably in product-based or startup environments.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.

Core Technical Skills:

• SQL: Advanced level with clean, optimized query writing.

• Python: Strong scripting experience for data processing and analysis.

• dbt: Proficiency in data transformation and pipeline automation.

• Data Modeling: Deep understanding of Star Schema, Fact/Dimension design, SCD, ETL/ELT workflows.

• BI Tools: Hands-on experience with Tableau, Looker, or equivalent visualization tools.

• Databases: Redshift, BigQuery, or similar MPP databases.

• Cloud Tools: Familiarity with AWS (Athena, Redshift) or GCP BigQuery environments.

• Version Control: Proficiency in Git and CI/CD integration.

Preferred Background

• Experience in Media, Entertainment, or OTT platforms.

• Exposure to streaming data analytics, digital products, or subscription-based ecosystems.

• Prior work in Agile product teams with end-to-end data ownership.

• Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
